Kamrup (M) DC orders schools to remain closed for 2 days due to severe heat conditions

The Kamrup Metropolitan Deputy Commissioner, in keeping with the severe heat conditions prevailing in the city in the recent few days, have declared holidays for the schools based in the city. As the temperature in the current days has exceeded the standard level of heat, life has been miserable for the school going children in commuting to their schools. This is to be noted that the heat has not only made it difficult for the school going children but for the parents as well.

As per the latest order released by the Kamrup (M) DC, all government and private sector schools will remain closed for two days, i.e., 27^th and 28^th August.
