LICI Managing director visits Udalguri village

MANGALDAI, June 30: The villagers of Monpur- a sleepy village on the outskirts of Udalguri town, were overwhelmed to receive Managing Director of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LICI), Hemanta Bhargava on Saturday. He arrived at the village from the Mumbai head office.

Accompanied by other senior officials of the LICI, Hemanta Bhargava took part in an awareness campaign on the second phase of ‘Gram Swaraj Abhiyan’ in the village. Acknowledging the warm hospitality offered by the villagers, he made an fervent appeal to all the villagers to avail the financial inclusion and insurance benefit programnes of the Prime Minister of India. He was accompanied by Deputy General Manager of SBI, DS Pandey and Senior Divisional Manager of Guwahati division, MR Sahoo.
