Dhekiajuli, July 3: A general meeting of the Sonitpur district committee of Assam Madrassa Teachers’ Union was held at Noorpurjut Senior Madrassa campus recently. The meeting was presided over by Abdul Bari and teachers from different madrassas under Sonitpur district participated in the meeting. The meeting unanimously selected Md Abdul Bari as the president, Md Nurul Haque as the vice-president, Mahi Uddin as the secretary and Minul Haque as central body member of the 11-member Sonitpur district committee.
