NAGAON, June 20: In a reciprocal attack with sharp weapons between two families of Pachim Singimari village under Rupahihat police station on Tuesday, one person was killed and 11 persons, including three women, were seriously injured. According to sources, the deceased has been identified as Sahab Ali of the same village. The injured were later on brought first to Rupahihat local hospital, but due to serious condition of the patients, they were finally admitted in Nagaon BP Civil Hospital. The sources further added that the reciprocal attack was due to a land dispute belonging to a public cemetery.
