Pro-Talk ULFA Leader Jiten Dutta Lashes out on Lumding MLA's Remarks, Rubbishes Allegations Leveled By Lumding MLA

Guwahati: Pro-talk United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) leader Jiten Dutta on Wednesday warned Lumding MLA for making baseless allegations against him and peasant leader Akhil Gogoi of having secret understandings with the Pakistani based militant group Hizbul Mujahideen.

Jiten Dutta exclusively told The Sentinel that MLA Mishra is a protector of Hindu Bangladeshis in the state has got no right to question on my ways to protect the land and people of India. “He doesn’t have to teach me what is right for the people of Assam,” said Dutta.

Lashing out at the MLA, Dutta also claimed that he knows with whom to maintain relation, thus, MLA Shibu Mishra should not comment on my priorities for the people of Assam.

It may also be mentioned that MLA Shibu Mishra earlier alleged that both Akhil Gogoi and Jiten Dutta have a secret understanding with the Pakistani based terrorist organization.

“Both of them comment on every matter related to Assam. Why they are mum on this (Hizbul Mujahideen) issue?” MLA Mishra questioned.

Meanwhile, Dutta urged MLA Mishra to sit in a discussion with the Chief Minister of Assam and find out ways to control the entries of Hizbul Mujahideen linkmen in the state. “If the Government cannot control their entries into the state then allow us to control them, we have enough sources to control these militants,” added Dutta.

He also stated that these Pakistani based militants have made their bases in the areas where the suspected Bangladeshi people have been living in. The government has also failed to evict these people from the region who have encroached a large part of the state.

Dutta also warned the Government saying that if the eviction process is not started in the region then more of such militants from Pakistan would be making their base in the state.

He also urged that Government should stop arresting these linkmen of the Pakistani based militant organization Hizbul Mujahideen. “These militants should be shot at sight (Encounter),” suggested Dutta.

Reminding the encounters of the ULFA militants, Jiten Dutta questioned the Government that if ULFA militants were being encountered then why not Hizbul Mujahideen militants are being encountered.

“If these militants can get an access to form its base in Assam, then they will again form their network after coming out from jail,” Dutta added further.

Earlier Jiten Dutta on November 12, 2017, had launched an eviction drive against the suspected Bangladeshi people who were residing at Buridihing region at Ketatong village under Margherita sub-division.

He further mentioned that the Hizbul Mujahideen are forming their network base from Pakistan via Bangladesh, thus, they are entering into the territory of India via Bangladesh.
