Protest rally against Citizenship (Amendment) Bill

DEMOW, May 22: The All Tai Ahom Students’ Union (ATASU), Demow Regional Committee, Demow Press Club, All Assam Bengali Youth Students Federation (AABYSF), Demow Regional Committee, Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad (AJYCP), Asomiya Yuba Mancha (AYM), All Tea Tribes Students’ Union (ATTSA), Krishak Mukti Sangram Samiti (KMSS), Takam Mising Porin Kebang (TMPK) and other organizations of Demow took out a protest rally on Monday from Demow Public Playground throughout Demow against the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016. The organizations strongly opposed the bill and the activists shouted various slogans against the government.
