Rank holders felicitated

NAGAON, June 13: Former Chief Minister PK Mahanta on Wednesday at a function held at the District Library auditorium, felicitated the district rank holders of the HSLC and HS final examination, 2018 along with other 958 meritorious students of his constituency, Barhampur. Mahanta in his speech said that such functions were generally arranged only to encourage students to be sincere and good citizens in the future so that they could do good for the society as well as for the country. The function was presided over by former MP of Upper House, educationist and renowned writer, Padmasree Joishree Goswami Mahanta and anchored by district AGP secretary, Niranjan Nora. In the function, Deputy Commissioner of Nagaon Biswajit Pegu, Superintendent of Police Sankarbrata Raimedhi, Inspector of Schools Mridul Neog and some other renowned educationists of the district were present and they advised the meritorious students on how to gain success in life and also warned them to be more sincere and serious in selection of their career.
