Strong Earthquake of Magnitude 4.9 Jolts Guwahati

Guwahati: A magnitude 4.9 intensity earthquake jolted Guwahati and other parts of Assam on Monday morning. The epicenter of the earthquake was Middle Assam’s Dhing in Nagaon district while the tremors were strongly felt in nearby areas. The earthquake struck around 10.25 am. No loss of life or damage to any property was reported so far.
