TANGLA, June 29: In a bid to equip teachers to guide students better for the Children Science Congress, a day-long NCSC Guide Teachers’ Training programme was held at Maharishi Vidya Mandir, Tangla on Friday. Nearly 60 teachers participated in the workshop to get trained in guiding students on science projects. The session was organised by the Udalguri district National Children’s Science Congress (NCSC). The teachers of government and private schools from middle to higher secondary sections lauded the efforts of NCSC and were immensely pleased participating in the programme. This programme is conducted under the aegis of National Council for Science and Technology Communication, Union Ministry of Science and Technology and is carried out all over India. District academic co-ordinator, NCSC, Deepa Sarma provided insights into the programme and how it equips teachers with the necessary skill and scientific aptitude to help students execute their science projects.
