Two cured COVID-19 patients discharged from MMCH, Guwahati

In a major relief for the pandemic-stricken people in the state, two COVID-19 positive patients, who are undergoing treatment at the Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital, Guwahati, were discharged from the hospital on Saturday as they recovered from the disease. Announcing this Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Please to share that I & MoS (Minister of State for Assam Health Department) Pijush Hazarika monitored discharge of two COVID patients today-Md Arshad and Md Rizuwan from MMCH after their four successive tests came as negative. They will now be sent for home quarantine. Total cured patients in Assam are now 11.”
