Unidentified Girl found hanging to a tree in Kokrajhar, Police suspect murder

Kokrajhar: Sensation prevails at Rainadabri area in Kokajhar District following the recovery of a dead body of a young girl on Tuesday.

The body was found hanging from a tree at Sericulture Firm at Rainadabri village under the Kokrajhar police station last morning. The identity of the victim girl is yet to be ascertained.

According to police, the body was found hanging from a tree with a saree. Police suspect the girl was first murdered and hanged thereafter.

Meanwhile, the body has been sent for postmortem.

Further investigation is going on.
