Youth killed by elder brother in Baksa

Tamulpur, May 12: Sensation prevailed when a youth was killed on Friday night by his elder brother in the village Motigaon under Tamulpur police station in Baksa.

The deceased youth has been identified as Kuldeep Gautam (23), son of Rajendra Gautam. On Friday night, after dinner Kuldeep was sleeping in a room with his elder brother Sankar Gautam (30). At midnight, both of them involved in a conflict and Sankar attacked his younger brother Kuldeep with a sharp weapon on his head. As a result, Kuldeep fell on the floor of the room. Hearing the sound, his mother rushed to the room with other family members and found Kuldeep wounded and in a serious condition. Kuldeep was taken to the hospital but doctors declared him dead. On Saturday morning, Munna Passoni, in-charge of Kumarikata police outpost came to the spot with a police team and recovered the body. The body had been sent to Mushalpur Civil Hospital for post mortem. After committing the murder, Sankar managed to escape.

Kuldeep was working in New Delhi in a private company since the past 10 years. He returned home on April 22. The reason for the murder has not been ascertained. Police are investigating the case.
