Chennai Actress Gayatri Sai  Alleges Sexual Harassment By Senior Journalist, shares in a Facebook Live video

A 42-year-old popular Tamil actress Gayatri Sai has gone live on mode on Facebook in order to expose and seek action against a senior journalist, who she alleges has been sexually harassing her over the last few years.

In her eight-minute facebook live video, the actor narrates the horror and torment she went through. Speaking In tears, the Chennai based actor alleged, Prakash M Swamy targeted her after the death of her husband in Hong Kong, giving false excuses of helping her in sorting an issue with her son's passport.

The video also went viral across many social media platforms across the internet and created response from many people in those platforms.

Gayatri Sai informed that she went up to police to file a case but they refused to file an FIR and on the contrary, they just registered Community Service Register (CSR), the picture of which she posted on her Facebook.

She said during the video that she tired of repeated visits to police station. Even After many pleadings and requests before them to file a case, the police instead asked the actor to go to the Commissioner of Police to file the case.

Gayatri Sai further stated during the video stated that the journalist sat next to her at her house and misbehaved. "I had to literally show him the door," she mentioned.

The actress went on to claim that harassment resumed through phone and internet and that the journalist began sending her derogatory WhatsApp messages, furthermore threatening to defame her.

The actress alleged, "He spread false stories that I killed my husband, who died of a massive heart attack. He even got a cheap baseless story on me published in a local magazine."

She even said that her daughter was also defamed by the journalist and together with her daughter she gathered the courage to post the foul of the journalist on social media.

According to the actor, she even went to the court but hearing has not been taken you till date.

The actress has moreover alleged that the journalist has over the course of years harassed many women, showing them pictures of him with top leaders and ministers so that people get intimidated by his stature.

Swamy, in his defense said, "I never visited her house nor did I sexually harass her. Even for argument's sake had I visited her, why did she keep quiet for so long?"
