Manipur: Manipur Releases Final Photo Electoral Rolls for 2024 Assembly Elections

Chief Election Officer P K Jha Announces Key Figures and Procedures

MANIPUR: In a major development, Manipur has officially unveiled the final Photo Electoral list for all 60 assembly constituencies ahead of the 2024 polls. Chief Electoral Officer Pradeep Kumar Jha, IAS, made the important announcement at a press conference held at the Headquarters of Elections, Lamphelpat on Monday.The latest results were first released on October 27, 2023, meaning that polls the rating rate is 55.54%, a slight increase from the 55.04% reported in the draft lists.

The total number of voters now stands at 20,26,623, showing an impressive turnout of 18,191 voters from the draft electoral roll. Highlighting the gender ratio, Jha disclosed a recorded figure of 1068, as against 1066 in the draft electoral roll. Notably, the final electoral roll for 2024 includes 34,700 newly registered voters, including 15,596 males, 19,095 females, and 9 individuals identified as third genders.
