The 'Me Too' campaign has reached Bollywood and there is no denial of it. After sexual allegation controversy including Nana Patekar and Vikas Bahl now legendary 'sanskaari' actor Alok Nath's name came up.

As per a report by Firstpost filmaker and writer Vinta Nanda alleged sexual abuse and misconduct against the veteran actor.

She posted about the shameful incident on her Facebook page on Monday where she wrote about her interview with Firstpost.

In an interview with Firstpost, Nanda recalled the situation around which the incident with Alok Nath took place almost two decades ago. Nanda spoke about her mental trauma through which she had passed with heavy drinking untill she found her voice.

The incident happened during the shooting of TV show Tara.

While Vinta hasn’t disclosed the name of the actor directly in the post, she identifies him as a ‘sanskaari’ actor who played a lead role in Tara.

There is no doubt that the actor was Alok Nath and the other victim of his alleged harassment would be Navneet Nishan who played another lead character in Tara.

Nanda wrote in her Facebook post, “I started to walk home on the empty streets although the distance to my own house was long. Midway I was accosted by this man who was driving his own car and he asked me to sit in it and said he would drop me home. I trusted him and sat in his car. I have faint memory after that. I can remember more liquor being poured into my mouth and I remember being violated endlessly. When I woke up the next afternoon, I was in pain.

I hadn’t just been raped, I was taken to my own house and had been brutalised.”

Alok Nath is known for his roles as a stereotypical Indian father, portraying religious traditions and moral values of Indian culture in films and TV shows.

It is the rising female voices against sexual harassment across the world as part of the 'Me Too' campaign gave Nanda the courage to wrote down the experiences which had left her "shattered".

Nanda further wrote on her post,"Don't hold yourselves back. This is a moment for change, so your silence will only hold barriers to its evolution. Speak out. Shout out from the top of the roof."
