‘Second Lieutenant’ of NDFB-S in Police Net, Arrested from Assam’s Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: In a major success to the Armed Forces and Law Enforcement department, a hardcore militant of the outlawed National Democratic Front of Bodoland-Saraigwra (NDFB-S) faction on Thursday night from Ripu Reserve near Nabin Nagar under Kachugaon in Kokrajhar District.

The militant has been identified as ‘second lieutenant’ David Mushahary alias M Dinthigiri and was arrested from Kokrajhar. As per police report, he was a member of the 39th batch NDFB-(S).

In another separate incident, three arms sellers were arrested from area near Ahom bridge of Amguri TE under Haluwating Police station in Shivsagar District. A Chinese made .22mm pistol which they had planned to sell was recovered from them. The arrested miscreants have been identified as Yanger Ayar, Patanga L K and Ari N Anchung Ayee from Mukokchang District in Nagaland.
