Guwahati: Thailand doctors have invented a new medicine for the treatment of novel Coronavirus with a fusion compound of medicines used in HIV and Flu treatments. According to a briefing on Sunday from the Ministry of Health-Thai doctors say that they have successfully treated one novel infected coronavirus patient with a combination of antiviral medicines.
As reported by Thailand Health Ministry, Thailand doctors have treated a Chinese woman infected with the newly coronavirus showed noticeable improvement after she was treated with a mixture of antiviral medicines used to treat flu and HIV.
17388 people all over the world have been highly infected and 362 people have already lost their lives due to Coronavirus. Surprisingly, 17205 of these infected people are only in China. So far, 362 people have died due to the outspread of coronavirus.
Thailand’s doctors have made a new medicine by combining some compounds of medicines. The government of Thailand declared how effective the medicine is, and after giving it, a patient recovered within 48 hours.
“The HIV medicines lopinavir and ritonavir mixed with anti-flu medication oseltamivir and this mixture of medicine were used on three patients in Thailand,” director of the Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok said on Monday.
Dr.Kriangsak Atipornwanich, at Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok, said that he gave the new medicine to a 71-year-old female patient for about 48 hours. He said, “I had treated a patient with a severe condition, and the result has been very satisfactory. The condition of the patient recovered within 48 hours. In 48 hours, She became 90% healthy And the test result has also changed from being positive into negative within 48 hours as well.”
Doctor Kriangsak Atipornwanich said that he made a new medicine by mixing the compounds of the anti-flu medicines to treat coronavirus patients. This medicine has proved to be very effective and satisfying.
So far a total of 19 confirmed cases of coronavirus have fallen out in Thailand where 8 of these patients have been cured in 14 days and sent to their respective homes. And 11 people are still under observation. Doctor Krensak Atiepornwanich has expressed the hope of curing them soon with the help of this new medicine.
The government of Thailand has sent this medicine to its central laboratory to make it more powerful, strong and accurate. If this medicine gets a green signal in laboratory tests, then it may be considered as the first successful medicine for treating coronavirus.
