Guwahati: Amazon.in on Thursday announced the expansion of its delivery network in the State of Assam. In the last year, Amazon.in has doubled its last-mile network in the state. With this expansion, Amazon.in now has close to 30 delivery stations and service partner nodes, and has partnered with close to 130 Kirana stores as part of its ‘I Have Space’ program in the state. This 2x growth of the delivery network will enable Amazon to penetrate further into smaller towns across Assam and have a direct delivery presence in close to 200 pin codes in the State. This will help Amazon reach Abhaypuri, Lekhapani, Agia, Koyakuchi, and Hailakandi, stated a press release.
