South Korean MNC Conglomerate Samsung is all set to launch its most anticipated foldable smartphone in November.
Ceo of Samsung Mobile Division DJ Koh has confirmed that the company is coming up with Samsung Galaxy X - a foldable smartphone. The details and features of the foldable smartphones are likely to be revealed during the Samsung Developer Conference in November later this year in San Francisco.
Koh feels that the market is ready to accept these new features of smartphones, however, he also believes that the design needs to be pondered over to segregate it from regular tablets.
When you need to browse or see something, then you may need to unfold it," Koh said at IFA in Berlin last week. He referred to the development process as being "complicated but claimed that the company has "nearly concluded" it.
The foldable smartphone is one which has a real-time bendable screen that can be used as a tablet when unfolded, and on folding it can be used as a double screened smartphone
