Initially, with this launching, the HOMTOM will be focusing on to achieve three to five per cent market share in the Indian smartphone market.

The salient feature of the H1 comes with 5.5-inch HD display and is equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. It houses a 3000mAh battery while H3 with 5.5-inch HD+ In-cell display comes with MTK 1.3GHz 64 bit processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage and it houses a 3500mAh battery.

Notably, keeping in mind the large young smartphone buyers, India has been a hot destination for a number of multinational mobile phone companies with their budding brands. As such, the market share, as well as the environment, has been becoming quite aggressive and competitive. With this similar aim to meet public demand and generating best-in-class products, HOMTOM is also likely to mark its place in the country.

Notably, the HOMTOM is also aiming to manufacture its products in India. However, so far, there is no confirmation on how customers can procure the smartphones.

According to HOMTOM's official website, another product that caught attention was an IP68 certified rugged smartphone codenamed Zoji. Besides stunning looks, the Zoji P23 has some impressive specs.

The HOMTOM series, the ones launched for India, seems to be built for those wanting to invest in a new phone, without upsetting the wallet too much. How it achieves in a market which has strong players like Samsung and Xiaomi with products in the sub-10000 price-category is a matter of great curiosity.
