State Bank of India Inaugurated ATM In Basistha, Guwahati

Guwahati: State Bank of India inaugurated an ATM at the Office of the Commandant, 1st Assam Forest Protection Force HQ, Basistha in Guwahati. The ATM was inaugurated by Chief General Manager SBI, NE Circle, Sunil Kumar Tandon, in presence of MD Fakhrul Islam, 2nd-in- Command,1st Assam Forest Protection HQ, Basistha, Guwahati, Madan LS, Deputy General Manager (B&O), Partha Sarathi Sarmah, AGM, ATM, LHO, Viddyapati Chaudhary, AGM, Guwahati Metro and other dignataries of SBI and Assam forest protection battalion.

Further, CGM, SBI, NE Circle, Sunil Tandon donated water purifier and ceiling fans as a part of bank’s Corporate Social Responsibility activity for the training centre of the Battalion. As the area is in the outskirts of Guwahati city, this ATM service will cater the Battalion staff and general masses of the Basistha area at large. The facility would in future be upgraded to a recycler machine with cash deposit facility. State Bank of India, Guwahati Metro Region has around 338 ATMs throughout Guwahati city at the service of the public, stated a press release.
