2-day Ugratara mahotsava to be held on May 1 and 2

GUWAHATI: Two days Ugratara mahotsava will be organized to reinstate the stolen idols of Ugratara Temple in the Uzan Bazar area. The new idols will be reinstated in a grand ceremony on May 1 and 2, 2019. On the first day, there will be an aarti and puja, while on the second day, a jal jatra will start from the mighty river Brahmaputra with a band party, followed by pushpanjali and reinstating of the idols.
