GUWAHATI: In order to ensure smooth conduct of the three-phase examinations for recruitment of Grade-III and Grade-IV Government staff, which will be held on August 21, August 28 and September 11, the State Government has deputed 24 IAS and ACS officers along with one PWD official as District Nodal Officers.
A Notification has been issued by the Personnel Department in this regard, which mentions that IAS officers concerned include MS Manivannan (for Kamrup (M), Lakshmanan S (Cachar), Bijaya Choudhury and Bharat Bhusan Dev Choudhury (both Kamrup), Munindra Sharma (Bajali), Binita Pegu (Kokrajhar), Kailash Karthik (Sonitpur), Anant Lal Gyani (Jorhat), Rakesh Agarawala (Darrang), Gautam Talukdar (Lakhimpur), Rituraj Bora (Sivasagar), Mridul Kumar Mahanta (Chirang), Debojyoti Dutta (Golaghat), Pushpanjali Das (Dhemaji), Rakesh Kumar (Biswanath), Adil Khan (Dibrugarh), Dilip Kumar Bora (Baksa), Bhaskar Phukan (West Karbi Anglong), and Neera Gogoi Sonowal (Charaideo).
The ACS officers include Rani Katharpi (Nalbari), Farouk Alam (Tinsukia), Pallabi Phukan (Karbi Anglong), Kamal Baishya (Majuli) and Arpan Saikia (Dima Hasao).
Debajit Bhuyan from the PWD (Roads) will be District Nodal Officer of Udalguri.
It may be recalled that Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has already held a discussion with various Deputy Commissioners to ensure that the examinations are conducted without any hitch.
