3-day nationwide bank strike from March 11 to 13, 2020

GUWAHATI: Bank Employees Federation of India and All India Bank Employees Association informed that a three-day nationwide strike will be observed from March 11 to 13. The organizations have a slew of demands from the Indian Banks’ Association along with wage revision. The banks will be closed for five consecutive days as March 16 and 17 are 2nd Saturday and Sunday. The associations stated that if their demands are not met they will hold an indefinite strike from April 1.
