40-Foot Tunnel Connects Old And New High Court Buildings

GUWAHATI: A tunnel to serve as a connection between the Old Gauhati High Court building and new High Court building was inaugurated by Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court on Tuesday. The construction of the tunnel is estimated to cost around Rs 22 crore. The tunnel length is around 40 feet with escalators on either side and imported technology has been used for the waterproof tunnel.
