AALSA to conduct webinar on climate change on June 21

GUWAHATI: The All Assam Law Students' Association (AALSA) will conduct a webinar in collaboration with Humane Society International/India (HSI) on June 21.

Central President of AALSA, Kishore Kalita stated that during this pandemic, All Lakhimpur District Law Students Association and All Jorhat District Law Students Association in collaboration with Humane Society International/India will organize a webinar on the topic 'Fighting Climate Change Through our Diet'.

Humane Society International/India is the world's largest animal protection organization working in more than 55 countries around the globe for the welfare issues of all the animals. Noyonika Gogoi and Abhishek Talukdar, State Outreach Coordinators of Humane Society International/India will be the guest speakers for the webinar session.

Kalita asserted that, "The Youth of today must have proper knowledge about the symbiotic relationship between animals and the environment, as it is the duty of ours as citizens to create a humane, sustainable food industry."

Kalita also thank the president and general secretary along with all the members of both the committees.
