AIUDF Releases Manifesto, Assures To Voice Against Citizenship Amendment Bill

GUWAHATI: All India United Democratic Front (AIUDF) released their party manifesto at a programme on Friday at the party office in Hatigaon, where along with party General Secretary (Org) Aminul Islam, other senior leaders were also present.

The manifesto came on strong regarding non-implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAB) and penned that the party agenda will always be to oppose the bill. “The Bill is unconstitutional and is in complete violation of the Assam Accord. Moreover, the NRC will have to be updated according to the Assam Accord. AIUDF promises to give voice to the problems of the people of Assam, protect the security of the minorities and deal with the trouble of illegal immigrants as per the guidelines of the Assam Accord”, read the manifesto.

The manifesto also claimed to solve problems of flood and erosion, unemployment, agriculture and irrigation, health sector, etc and uphold the individuality of the indigenous of the state.
