All India United Democratic Front, Dhing MLA Aminul Islam sent to judicial custody

GUWAHATI: The CJM court has sent AIUDF Dhing MLA Aminul Islam to judicial custody, here on Sunday. Sleuths of CID brought Islam to Guwahati on Saturday. The court has directed the CID to interrogate Islam inside the jail if needed. He was arrested by Nagaon Police for his communal remarks uploaded in a video clip recently. The CID has also registered a Suo Moto case: 05/2020 u/s 120 (B)/153(A)(B)/295(A)/505 IPC read with Section 67 of IT Act.
