
Guwahati: An all-woman book club was launched at Gauhati Press Club on the eve of the International Women's Day today.
The All Women's Book Club aims to provide a welcoming environment where women of all backgrounds can come together to explore literature, exchange ideas, and support one another's personal and intellectual growth.
"We believe in the power of books to connect and empower women," said founder president, Mita Nath Bora. "Through this book club, we hope to create a space where women can engage in meaningful conversations, share diverse perspectives, and build lasting friendships."
The founding headboard comprises the following members. President Mita Nath Bora, General Secretary Ranjana Bhajanka, Vice President Anjuma Jain, Vice President Santanshree, Secretary Rita Harlalka and Treasurer & Manager Akshita Tiwari Das, stated a press release.
