ALPCL chairman Manoj Saikia addresses problems of livestock farmers due to lockdown

GUWAHATI: After receiving complaints regarding the problems faced by the livestock producers due to lockdown, chairman of the Assam Livestock and Poultry Corporation Ltd. (ALPCL) Manoj Saikia visited the Sonapur Veterinary Hospital, on Friday. Saikia held discussions with veterinary officers and doctors regarding medicines, vaccine and animal fodder.

Saikia further interacted with livestock farmers regarding the issues faced by them and directed the officials to follow immediate measures to resolve their problems. He, then visited various animal farms including piggery and chicken and asked the farmers to be in consultation with the veterinary doctors.
