APCC issues show-cause notice to its general secretary Biswajit Ray

GUWAHATI: The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has issued a show-cause notice to its general secretary Biswajit Ray for sharing the dais with NEDA (North East Democratic Alliance) convener Himanta Biswa Sarma and State BJP president Ranjeet Kumar Dass at an election rally at Salakati in Kokrajhar district on November 13, 2020.

The former AKRSU (All Koch-Rajbongshi Students' Union) president Ray has been asked to reply the show-cause notice by November 18, 2020. "Why disciplinary action shall not be taken against you for violating party discipline?" the notice, issued by APCC's general secretary (organization) Ranjan Bora, asked Ray.
