GUWAHATI: Fight against Injustice of APSC admin Manas Pratim Baruah alleged Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) with some faults in conducting CCE Prelims, 2022. The admin said, “Though the results of APSC CCE Prelims came out early, APSC again failed to keep transparency. APSC decided to hold the Main Examination before the tentative schedule. The commission tried to show exuberance by declaring the results beforehand- only after two weeks of CCE which was held on March 26. But APSC could not maintain any transparency in its functioning.”
Baruah further said, “Like before, there were errors in the answer keys of about three to four questions of this year. Even the answer keys were not made public this year. Though the students made the commission aware of this, APSC didn’t give any importance on it. Besides this, the cut off marks for APSC CCE Examination was even not made public. On January 11, 2023, APSC had declared a tentative schedule, according to which the Main Examination will be held in August or September. But yesterday, through a notice, APSC again informed that the Main Examination will be held in June.”
In view of such discrepancies, the admin raised the question, “How is it possible to hold the Main Exam two months before the scheduled time? We want APSC to alter the decision and maintain transparency.”
