ARKS & other organizations jointly staged hunger strike against farm laws in Guwahati

Members of the Asom Raijik Krishak Sabha (ARKS), Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Students’ Federation of India (SFI), Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and the All India Democratic Women’s Association (AIDWA) on Saturday jointly staged hunger strike against the three farm laws and in support of the farmers in Delhi at Guwahati Club here.

GUWAHATI: Members of the Asom Raijik Krishak Sabha (ARKS), Centre of Indian Trade Unions (CITU), Students' Federation of India (SFI), Democratic Youth Federation of India (DYFI) and the All India Democratic Women's Association (AIDWA) on Saturday jointly staged hunger strike against the three farm laws and in support of the farmers in Delhi at Guwahati Club here.

One of the members stated, "On Swahid Divas of Mahatma Gandhi we have staged hunger strike to stop all cruelty which is going on with the farmers in Delhi."

He also stated that they will continue their protests till the farm laws are cancelled.
