GUWAHATI: As a part of events to celebrate "Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav," the 75th anniversary of India's independence, the Blood Centre, 151 Base Hospital, organized a volunteer blood donation camp in collaboration with the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) on Monday at the premises of 132 Station Health Organization (SHO), Narangi Cantonment.

The blood donation camp witnessed enthusiastic participation from Army personnel. All donors were presented with certificates through e-Rakthkosh as a token of appreciation for donating blood, stated a press release. The aim of celebrating "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav" with great pride was achieved with great success and also helped military-civilian aid to build up blood resources in the state.
