Asom Sattra Mahasabha (ASM) condemns Palghar lynching of 2 mendicants

GUWAHATI: The Asom Sattra Mahasabha (ASM) has condemned the mob lynching of two sadhus and their driver in the presence of the police in Gadchinchale village, Palghar district in Maharashtra on April 16, 2020.

Talking to The Sentinel, ASM general secretary Kusum Kumar Mahanta said, “We condemn the incident of lynching of two Sadhus in front of the police in Maharashtra. We demand the government to ensure safety and security of sadhus and not to allow recurrence of such killings in the future. The government should give justice to the sadhus by punishing the killers.”
