GUWAHATI: 108 Mrityunjoy Emergency Response Services served 285 road accident cases in two days – March 15 and 15 – during the Holi in the state. On March 14, the Mrityunjoy Services attended 137 accidents – 116 of two-wheelers, 11 of three-wheelers, and ten of four-wheelers.
On March 15, it attended 148 road accident cases – 133 involving two-wheelers, four involving three-wheelers, nine involving four-wheelers, and two involving trains. The Sonitpur district had the highest number of 30 road accidents in the two days of Holi. All the accidents involved two-wheelers. Following Sonitpur are Kamrup M, which registered 23 road accident cases on March 14 and 15; Kamrup with 21; etc.
