Assam: 1st Bn SSB, Sonapur Conducts Barber Training for 14 Unemployed Youths

Sonapur: The opening ceremony of Barber training for 14 unemployed youths under Civic Action Programme in North Eastern Region was held today at the premises of 1st Bn SSB, Sonapur. This 10-day training programme for the unemployed youths will continue till February 28. The event commenced with the welcome speech by Virendra Singh Mehra, Dy. Commandant, 1st Bn SSB highlighting the details and importance of this training. Ibochouba Singh, Second In Command, 1st Bn SSB in his speech encouraged the youths to develop their skills by making best uses of the training programme, and further motivated them to take initiative to be self reliant for financial independency and to uplift the community as a whole. Barber tool kits and certificate will also be distributed to the youths at the end of the training programme, stated a press release.
