Guwahati: Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez visited Kamakhya Temple and sought blessings from the almighty on her birthday here on Thursday.

Amid tight security, she also performed yajna on the temple premises.

''I visited the place on my birthday and it is my first visit. It's really beautiful,'' she said while speaking to the media.

She is celebrating her birthday today in a very special way. Instead of having a grand party like other Bollywood celebrities, the actress celebrated her birthday in a very unique way, the actress shared a video on her Instagram handle which after watching, netizens praised her.

Sharing the video, the actress captioned it, 'Best place to spend my birthday, so blessed to see another year, cheers for this and the moments to come. Thank you to everyone who is a part of my journey.'

Minutes after sharing this video, it went viral as her fans started praising her.

While some people wished the actress a happy birthday in the comment sections, others praised her look. Notably, there were also some social media users who praised Jacqueline's simplicity.

After coming to India for a modeling assignment, she got several offers from Bollywood and became well established in the Indian film industry.

Reportedly, she is said to have broken up with film director Sajid Khan after a 3-year on-again, off-again relationship with him.

She is an active supporter of the famous NGO (PETA), as she became a vegetarian after joining the NGO PETA.

As per reports, she also runs an NGO in Sri Lanka to uplift the downtrodden in the country. She also runs a restaurant called Kaema Sutra, which is an island in Sri Lanka.
