GUWAHATI/ NEW DELHI: 'Jogajog' – the monthly newsletter of 'Assam Association Delhi' for the month of August 2021 has been published. Besides the editorial, this month's 'Jogajog' features accounts of its activities and critical analyses of various issues.

It includes an account of the virtual 'Talk Session' on "Assamese Language: Heritage, Problems, Solutions" held on July 25 (Sunday), 2021. It was organized under the banner of the 'AAD Talk Session'. The virtual meet was attended by around 35 participants from various parts of the country including abroad.

The talk session was presented by Dr Lohit Datta Barua from USA at 8 pm IST (Indian Standard Time). The detailed report along with the ppt, video-recorded links, and other relevant documents are also attached with the report. The Association also congratulated Lovlina Borgohain for winning the bronze medal in the ongoing Tokyo Olympic-2020. Besides, the newsletter carried a report on the 'Ramdhenu Mela' organized by the 'INLI Foundation'.

There is also information of the third batch of 'Online Xattriya' dance class proposed to be started by the 'Sattriya Nrityasala' in New Delhi. The Xattriya dance classes will be conducted by Meenakshi Medhi, senior disciple of SNA (Sangeet Natak Akademi) awardee Adhyapak Haricharan Bhuyan Borbayan. For admission details, interested learners have been asked to WhatsApp at 9706458699. A special online session was held by the New Delhi chapter of 'Srimanta Sankardev Sangha.
