Assam-based startup drone tech lab to represent India at SWITCH 2025 in Singapore

Guwahati: In a proud achievement for Assam and the North East, Guwahati-based drone technology startup Drones Tech Lab has been selected to represent India at the prestigious Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2025, scheduled to be held from October 29 to October 31 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

The startup is among only eight high-potential startups chosen under the SWITCH India Hackathon initiative, and will showcase its cutting-edge innovations at the India Pavilion. The nationwide selection process was led by the Technology Business Incubation Foundation (TBIF) at IIT Ropar, with support from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India.

Founded by Ritesh Kanu, Biswajit Dey, and Debajit Deka, Drones Tech Lab is a brand of RC Hobbytech Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The company provides drone-based solutions for surveying, mapping, inspections, and asset monitoring, supporting sectors such as infrastructure, utilities, and environmental management.

Reacting to the announcement, Ritesh Kanu, Founder of Drones Tech Lab, said, “Being selected to represent India at SWITCH 2025 is a tremendous honour for us.
