GUWAHATI: In a major success in its continuous efforts to curb transborder crimes and smuggling along the Indo-Bangladesh International Border, bordermen of 157 Bn BSF under Guwahati Frontier have seized 5,850 prohibited Yaba tablets during a special search operation in the Coochbehar district of West Bengal. Acting on credible intelligence, vigilant border men of 157 Bn BSF launched a meticulously planned search operation in the border area. As a result, 5,850 prohibited Yaba tablets, valued at approx. Rs. 29.25 lakhs, were successfully seized, stated a press release.
