Assam Government, Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited Sign Oil Exploration Pact

GUWAHATI: The agreement of the Petroleum Exploration Licence of one OALP block of Assam was signed between the Government of Assam and Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited (HOECL) at the conference hall of Mines and Minerals of Assam here recently. Joint Secretary and Director of Geology and Mining, Assam GS Panesar and resident manager of Hindustan Oil Exploration Company Limited Debashish Gupta signed the deed in the presence of Sum Ranghang, Minister of Minies and Minerals, Additional Chief Secretary VS Bhaskar and Dulal Chandra Das, Secretary, Mines and Minerals Department, stated a press release.

Ranghang while congratulating the Hindustan Oil Exploration Company said that the State Government would provide all possible support in the exploration process.

Gupta said that Hindustan Oil Exploration Company said that sustainable development is the core of the company with strong focus on the exploration of natural resources by systematic seismic survey in the permitted area.
