Assam Government Promotes ACS Officers in Different Departments

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Monday promoted several ACS officers to the rank of secretary in different departments. Additional Secretary to Revenue & DM department Ashok Kumar Barman has been promoted to Secretary of the same department. District Development Officer, Golaghat Farid Ahmed has been promoted to Secretary in Excise department. Additional Secretary in Industries & Commerce department Rani Katharpi has been promoted to Secretary in the same department. District Development Officer, Hailakandi Madhumita Choudhury has been promoted to Secretary in State Election Department.
