The MoU signing ceremony took place at the Assam Administrative Staff College (AASC), Khanapara, in the presence of Bhaskar Jyoti Manta, Director of Social Justice & Empowerment, who presided over the event. Also in attendance were the Director of SC & BC Welfare, the Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities, and members of the All Assam Senior Citizens’ Association.

The five empanelled institutions under this programme are Sri Sankaradeva Nethralaya, Guwahati; Guwahati Eye Centre, Guwahati; Gauhati Lions Eye Hospital, Guwahati; Drishti Netralaya, Dibrugarh; and Chandraprabha Eye Hospital, Jorhat. Senior representatives from these organizations expressed their commitment to delivering quality eye care to the elderly population.
