Assam Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi extends Shab-e-Barat wishes

GUWAHATI: Assam Governor Professor Jagdish Mukhi extended his warm greetings to the people of Assam, particularly belonging to the Muslim community on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Barat.

In a message, Prof. Mukhi urged upon all to pray to ‘Allah’ for his divine mercy and blessings for the welfare of mankind.

He further said, “On the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Barat, I wish all with lots of happiness, good health and success and hope this occasion re-energizes our connection with our fore-fathers”.

The Governor also appealed to everybody to celebrate the occasion by adhering to the protocols of social distancing.
