GUWAHATI: With a view to bridge the gap between the public and the police, the Guwahati Police will organize a ‘Verification Mela’ in every police station under Guwahati Police Commissionerate on Wednesday. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Intelligence) Hare Krishna Nath, “The verification Mela will be from 10 am to 5 pm in every police station for redressing pending verifications.”
Nath emphasized that the public can verify documents such as PRC, passports, licenses, and other essential papers.
Additionally, citizens with pending complaints or doubts can visit their local police station on Wednesday to clarify their concerns.
