Assam: Man Hit by Train Near Kamakhya-Guwahati Railway Station

GUWAHATI: A tragic train incident occurred on February 3, 2025, near the Kamakhya-Guwahati Railway Station. A person named Rakesh Guwala was hit by the train, and he was found lying outside the track. Upon receiving the information, authorities swiftly responded, and OC Bharalumukh attended the scene immediately. The injured person was rushed to Gauhati Medical College Hospital (GMCH) via ambulance. Rakesh Guwala, a 45-year-old resident of Sangram Pur, Motihari, Bihar, who was temporarily residing in Fatashil Ambari, Guwahati.
