Assam: Police Arrest Drug Peddler in Guwahati City

GUWAHATI: The Special Operations Group (SOG) of Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) and a team from Pan Bazaar PS nabbed a drug peddler identified as Nirmal Rajbongshi of Chaygaon. The accused was caught red-handed from No. 2 Rail Gate. The police seized 19 vials of suspected heroin weighing 25.64 grams, and three packs of syringes. Legal action has been initiated against the accused.
