GUWAHATI: After reports showing the leakage of the Chemistry paper of the AHSEC, 2023 were published, the Education department registered a case with Assam Police regarding the same. The officer-in-charge of the Chandmari Police Station, Guwahati remarked that the news regarding the leakage of the Chemistry question paper of the AHSEC, 2023 was, in fact, not true, and there was no proof regarding any such incident.
As per the enquiry conducted by the police, the news was supposedly published on the basis of inputs from a student and a handwritten question paper similar to the original question paper. Moreover, there is no match between these questions and the original official question paper. It was also found that the leaked question paper is handwritten as mentioned in the telecast video, stated a report from the police official. This handwritten question paper was allegedly provided by the student after the examination was over.
“During enquiry, it was found that there is difference between the handwritten question paper and official question paper, and also the said news clip had been published after completion of the exam.
However, no strong evidence is found whether the said question paper had been leaked before the said exam was held,” mentioned the report from the official.
