Assam: Preparations Underway for Assam Police Exam at Kamrup Metro District

GUWAHATI: A meeting was held on Tuesday at Kamrup Metropolitan District to discuss preparations for the upcoming Assam Police Sub-Inspector written examination, scheduled to take place on January 5, 2025. The meeting, chaired by Additional District Commissioner Casio Karan Pegu, aimed to ensure a smooth and secure examination process. The discussion focused on examination guidelines and protocols to be followed during the test. The attendees emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity and security of the examination process.

To ensure the smooth conduct of the examination, the district administration has made elaborate arrangements. The exam will be held across 31 centres in Kamrup Metropolitan District. Female and male candidates will be frisked separately, with female police personnel and Anganwadi workers present during the screening process. The district administration has appealed to the public for their cooperation and support in conducting the examination smoothly.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Superintendent of Police Imdad Ali, District School Inspector Deepika Choudhury, and representatives from various examination centres.
